Parent Ed. Event (Oct. 28)

Parent Discussion Evening: Exploring Challenging Topics

Has your child ever made a comment about skin color that felt challenging to respond to? Do you ever wonder how to talk with your child about privilege or socioeconomic diversity? Do you wonder if there’s a right age to start having these conversations with your children?

Let’s work on it together! Come join in on a conversation around these topics where we can share knowledge, experience, wonderings and fears, and learn from each other. There’s no one right way to do it!

This parent education event will be focused on getting comfortable talking about these topics with each other as a foundation to build meaningful conversations with our children.

Time and Place:
Tuesday, October 28, 5:30–6:30 pm
Bacich Library
