TK-8th Grade Parent/Caregiver Ed: So.Many.Screens by ScreenSense
- Tuesday, Dec. 2, 6:30–7:45 p.m., Kent Library, view flyer in English & Spanish.
Parents and caregivers are flooded with tech decisions—and many say it’s their toughest parenting challenge. Creating shared norms around early tech use can take pressure off families (and kids). Our presenters from ScreenSense will help normalize talking openly — and in community — about the nonstop tech choices families face. They’ll break down what current research shows, how to keep tech in check, and ways to reduce online harm by age and stage of development. They will also highlight the IRL (In Real Life) experiences that matter most for healthy development and how communities can support one another. The presentation will include an introduction to the Marin countywide collective action movement: Kids IRL.
